Carrie regularly publishes on legal and business matters. For several years she was the business law columnist for Scripps Treasure Coast news in the Sunday edition and currently publishes monthly with Seacoast Publications.

In 1993, the Hastings Law Review published Carrie’s "Government Sponsored Enterprises are Too Big to Fail: Balancing Public and Private Interests,” 44 Hastings Law Review 991, 1993. Columbia Law Review recently recognized that Carrie was the first to tag Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as "too big to fail.”
